Sabudana Mota

Sabudana also recognized as pearl tapioca is used for making variety of dishes. The dish is of choice when an individual observes a "fast" during Shivratri, Navratri, or a similar Hindu religious occasion. It is also known as Sabudana Usal in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. The Mota Sabudana is liked by many people in almost every part of India. It is a great Recipe to make Sabudana Khichadi. The product is soaked for a while and is then fried with cumin seeds, salt & red chili powder. It contains pure carbohydrate and has very little protein, vitamins, or minerals.
